The Petition - Demand the Truth

The community deserves the truth. On February 6th, 2026 Branden Chindavong was murdered during an encounter with the Federal Way Police Department. While the department has released their initial statements, new videos of the incident have surfaced leaving the community with unanswered questions.

Transparency is not a courtesy, it is a requirement for public trust. We, the undersigned, are calling for immediate Release of the bodycam footage. We demand the full, unedited body camera footage to be released to the public. Justice cannot be served in the dark. We stand with the Chindavong family in demanding that the Federal Way Police Department holds itself to the highest standard of accountability. Release the tapes. Let the facts speak for themselves.
